Jeff and Kim Starr have been married for more than 24 years. They have 4 (+2) children and 5 grandchildren! Kim has always had a love for woodworking and what started as a 30 year hobby has turned into a wonderful business! Out of this passion Bespoken Cottage was born! “Bespoken” means custom built just for you. Unique pieces that reflect your personal style, taste and functionality.

It is our desire to bring gorgeous solid wood Modern Cottage and Farmhouse Style furniture to our customers at reasonable prices. We enjoy tailoring pieces to fit our customers’ needs. Service and quality are our number one priorities as we believe true “customer service” is a lost art.

Our Process

Dream it.

Reach out to us to get a conversation started about what you are looking for. We will work together to draw up a plan with custom measurements, wood type, and paint colors. Then we price out the specific costs of all your choices and send you a quote. Once the price and design are agreed upon and deposit is paid, we pick up the wood and get to work!

Build it.

Building, painting, and adding accessories (hinges, rails, rollers, handles, etc) can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks. Once everything is complete we give them a rubdown, get all of the sawdust off, and your piece is ready for delivery!

Deliver it.

We deliver (and assemble if required) right to your home. Our delivery fee is $50 within 50 miles. $1 a mile over 50.
